LAP Career Event: Explore the career options past your PhD degree

When approaching the last year(s) of your time as a PhD candidate, it is time to start thinking about the career after your PhD: Would you like to proceed your career in academia? Or do you fancy a job in the industry, consultancy or a biotech start-up?
If you would like to explore the options for a (biomedical) career after finishing your PhD, and be inspired by professionals in the field, come and visit the LAP Career Event!
The day will include a plenary lecture on career choices by a keynote speaker (to be announced), several workshops on topics such as personal branding and job interview skills, a plenary debate between biomedical professionals with different backgrounds on the pros and cons of several career options, and a networking fair with many different companies in the (bio)medical sector. Finally we will end the evening with a nice dinner.
Entrance fee
Entrance fee includes coffee/tea, drinks and a dinner.
Venue
The event will take place Campus Wijnhaven, in The Hague (only a 5 minute walk from The Hague Central train station).
